Schools addressing organic waste challenges
We are exploring the systems, challenges and opportunities for organic waste avoidance, reduction and management in NSW schools. Our research will inform recommendations to the NSW Environment Protection Authority who are working with institutions to address organic waste source separation targets (2025-2027) under the NSW Waste and Sustainable Materials Strategy.
We are interested in learning from the practical experiences of teachers and school communities (support staff, General Assistants,P&C) about your success stories, your challenges and support that could enable you to effectively tackle your organic waste challenges.
